EPICA SCHEDULE SPOTIFY SOUNDROP CHAT

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metal band EPICA have a well-deserved reputation of being close to their dedicated fans. With nearly 2 million likes on Facebook, the band is covering new grounds within the virtual world, and they’re always eager to try new ways of reaching out to music lovers from around the world.  To that end, EPICA singer SIMONE SIMONS, guitarist MARK JANSENand keyboard player COEN JANSSEN are setting aside 60 minutes on Tuesday, November 19th at 10 a.m. PACIFIC / 1 p.m. EASTERN to chat with fans via Spotify’s Soundrop.

The pyro-filled & lightshow-studded evening also included special guest appearances by fellow Dutch metal frontwoman Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISHREVAMPEPICA founding drummer Jeroen Simons, founding guitarist Ad Sluijter, and founding bassist Yves Huts performing on the band’s breakthrough single “Quietus from EPICA’s 2005 album Consign To Oblivion.

In addition to the collection of EPICA of hits from their entire catalog, the Retrospect DVD also features instrumental covers of classics by Italian Baroque composer Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, and the Oscar-winning film composer John Williams.
